The Senior GIS Specialist for the California Research Bureau serves as the lead researcher on geospatial focused projects and develops advanced original analysis, effective visualizations, and both quick and in depth insights in support of projects led by other team members and quick turnaround requests.

The Senior GIS Specialist is under the supervision of the California Research Bureau Assistant Director. The mission of the California Research Bureau is to provide nonpartisan and confidential public policy research for the Governor’s Office and the State Legislature and to advance equitable access via statewide initiatives, including CRB Nexus and the California Homeless Youth Project.
