Catalyzing Advocacy in Science and Engineering (CASE) Workshop

In partnership with the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and the University of California Advocacy Network (UCAN), this exciting opportunity is open to upper-class undergraduate and graduate students in science, mathematics, and engineering disciplines to learn about science policy and advocacy. Students will participate in one day program where they will learn about:

  • Structure and organization of federal and state government
  • Budget and appropriations processes
  • Tools for effective science communication and civic engagement
  • And more about the role of science in policy-making
